The best part is that it is all stainless steel. We include new exhaust gaskets for the engine and down pipe. We use 3D computer aided design for all of our work to guarantee good fit. We will warranty the header for life for any performance issues (leakage,warpage, fit, gasket blowout). 2.2L with SAI has a specially welded adapter so your stock tubing can bolt right to the header and not throw any check engine lights and WONT need a reprogram!!!!

    SAI is Secondary Air Injection on some the 2.2L engines- It is an emmision pump located above the header and mounted on the rear side of the valve cover of the engine with a chrome corrugated tube running to the header. This is only on certain vehicles that have the added emmision restrictions - check before ordering!!!!

    2.0L SS supercharged cobalt / 2.4L / and 2.2L cobalt Ecotec engine High Flow Downpipes. We manufacturer these downpipes inhouse and test fit each set for assured factory like fit. Mandrel-bent, stainless steel piping in 2.5" or 3 " sizes, 3/8" thick steel flanges.Comes with reinforced Vibrant flexpipe to absorb any engine movement and assure proper alignment .We also use Vibrant High flow stainless steel cat converter for maximum performance and for emmisions regulations. Dyno results will be posted soon ,but an estimated 7 - 10 HP can be gained from stock downpipe replacement. These are a factory replacement so no welding or cutting is necessary. This is the Factory Header Professionally extrude honed by GMPP with the part number ending in 1972. GMP states that these headers have a 30 CFM Flow gain over the stock manifolds. This Gain comes from increased port sizes and is more efficient as many of the casting imperfections are removed and smoothed out for increased flow. Item will not void GM warranty.
